Eire Og Inis senior hurling team take the field against Clarecastle on Saturday at 1.00 pm in Shannon in the 2nd round of the County Championship. They are well prepared, excellently trained, primed for firing and will give a very good account of themselves. BUT, to be sure to be sure, they need every available club member at the Wolfe Tones Ground on the day, shouting encouragement, cheering every score, pucking every ball with them. So, once again, don the red and white of Éire Óg, puff out your chest and drive the team on and into the county quarter finals.
For the last few days of the Fleadh, if you have any friends hitting town, make them aware of the parking facilities available at the club grounds.
Mike Butler and Friends are providing the tunes in the clubhouse tonight, tomorrow night and Saturday night, so if you want to soak up the Fleadh atmosphere in more relaxed surroundings, prefer your tipple in a real glass and have a reasonable chance of a seat, Éire Óg clubhouse is your spot. Of course the Ennis Singers club continues to entertain daily from 2.00pm til evening.
