Eire Og Inis St. Stephen’s Day Tournament 26th December, 2023

As we wrap up the year of sport in Eire Og and write our letters to Santa (praying that I don't make the naughty list again 🙂), our minds turn to the annual Eire Og St. Stephen’s Day tournament. We are looking to all adult players (both men and women) to sign up with a team from the list below -

● Gallow’s Hill/Turnpike (our reigning champions)

● Gort Road

● Lahinch Road

● Kilrush Road

● Shanaway Road

● Flannan’s Road

● Tulla Road

● Clare Road

The tournament is open to all current and former female and male adult players plus any girls graduating from our successful U16 team and any boys coming out of the minor/U17 grade this year plus we are hoping our successful “Mothers and Others” group will partake too.

The format and rules will be similar to last year with all games played on the day and culminating in a cup and shield final before a packed crowd. Once the games are over, the bar in the Eire Og clubhouse will be open for further festivities.

So, sign up for your local team, skip the sales and join the activities down on the Clonroad on Stephen’s Day. More details to follow in the next few weeks.
