This year’s Irish Life/GAA Steps Challenge has ended with the Éire Óg group at the top of the pile for Munster with a final tally of 35,589.5KM over the 6 weeks!! With an average of 209.3KMs for each of the 170 tracking steps its’s clear that a huge effort has been put in by all, and so as a little reward the club are going to raffle 4 x €25 vouchers for Spar Turnpike among the participants.

We are also in the running for a share of the €30,000 Irish Life prizes which have yet to be announced.

The draw for the Spar Turnpike vouchers will take place at the clubhouse after this weekend’s club & community 5K walk/fun run event. This is a free event and all are welcome so grab your two and four legged friends, or get those running shoes on and come on down. Start time is 11am, Saturday 17th Feb, meeting from 10.30am.
