Club Championships

Heartbreak for our senior hurlers who exited the championship after a loss to Inagh Kilnamona in last weekend’s quarter final. Hard luck to the team & management and thanks for all your efforts throughout the year. Onwards and upwards.

Well done to our U10 hurlers who provided great entertainment at half time of the senior match on Saturday.

Orla Cronin will run a 6 week block of Yoga classes at the clubhouse on Wednesdays from November 6th to December 11th, 8 to 9pm. Cost is €60 and is payable in advance.

Camogie News

Our U14s play their shield semi final against Cratloe on Saturday @ 1.30pm in Cratloe.

Our intermediate girls will also play a shield semi final on Saturday at 3pm against Inagh Kilnamona. Venue: Inagh.

Please come & support all our ladies.

Last chance to drop off for our clothing collection is today, Friday 27th from 7 to 7.45pm. Drop off is near the gym. Thanks to all that have already called.


Academy News

Best of luck to the minor hurlers in Saturday's U17A Championship Semi-Final v St. Joseph's Doora-Barefield. Game throws in at 4pm in Kilmaley.


Despite a final round defeat at the hands of Lissycasey at the weekend, our minor footballers have made the Div. 1 Semi-Final this year. Again our opponents are St. Joseph's Doora-Barefield in a match to be played in Clarecastle on Sunday, 6th October at 3.30pm.

Hopefully we will see lots of support at both games.

Our U14 footballers continue their preparations for the upcoming Championship when they travel into Limerick on Monday evening to play St. Patrick's GAA in a challenge at Rhebogue.

U10 hurling blitz in Éire Óg on Friday evening at 6pm where Corofin-Ruan are the visitors.

Our U12 hurlers played two highly competitive games with Clooney-Quin last Sunday afternoon in Éire Óg. It's great to see the progress made by these boys all throughout the year.

U8 Football Blitz in Caherlohan on Saturday morning.

Well done to the U15 hurlers who secured their place in the "B" Championship semi-finals with a game to spare at the weekend with a good win over Bodyke-O Callaghans Mills.

The U15 Academy team host Bodyke-O Callaghans Mills also in Saturday's game in Éire Óg at 11am


Ladies football

A successful Sunday for our lady footballers, our U14s beat Wolfe Tones 4-10 to 2-02 and the Intermediates beat Doonbeg 3-11 to 0-03.

Our intermediates are now in semi final action on Sunday at 4pm in an away game to Kilrush. All the best to the team.

Club Lotto

Club lotto jackpot now stands at €6125. Last Thursday’s numbers were: 2, 12, 19, 21. There was no Jackpot or match 3 winner. 4 Lucky Dips of €25 went to: Laura Conlon, Kevin Moynihan Snr., Liam Griffin, Ted Finn. The Promoters Prize of €25 went to Mary O’Connor. Well done to all. Paul will be in touch re prizes.
