Shane O’Donnell Nomination
Congrats and best of luck to Shane who has been nominated in the Sportsperson of the Year category in this years RTE Sports Awards. Shane is the only GAA player nominated in this category and is up against some of Ireland’s finest sportspeople. The awards show will be broadcast live on RTÉ 1 from 9.30 pm on Sunday the 15th December. Be sure to tune in!
Victory Social
Ticket sales are steady for our Senior Football and Intermediate ladies Victory Social at the Inn at Dromoland on January 10th. Players and management will receive their ticket from the club, online sales are for family, friends and supporters. Following a few queries, I can clarify, those purchasing online will get a printed ticket which they can collect on the night or from Assumpta or Aileen beforehand. Club lotto jackpot now stands at €7500. Last Thursday’s numbers were: 16, 23, 24, 31. There was no Jackpot winner and we had two Match 3s with €50 each going to Kevin Moynihan and Rosie Fitzgerald. The Promoters Prize of €25 went to Heaslip’s Shop. Well done to all. Paul will be in touch re prizes.
