Season’s greetings to all. Just a little update on our St. Stephen’s Day tournament. Thanks to Mike Brennan for all his work on this, see his team previews below, always a great day out, be sure to pop up.
Itinerary for the day:
• 12pm - Group walk=all welcome
• 1pm - Tournament begins
• 2.10pm - Shield final
• 2.55pm - Cup final
• 6pm - Presentations at the clubhouse
• 7.30pm - Golf Classic presentation followed by Clare Jersey Raffle & Music with DJ Ollie

Team Information -
1. Clare Road led by James Sweeney & Orla Devitt – Wil be looking to Jack Lynch and Marc O’Donnell to lead the way, ably assisted by inter-county star, Orla Devitt and the returning Rae Wall from Australia with Mark Collins and Adam Gleeson providing protection at the back. No hurler of the year, Shane O’Donnell, this year. 
2. Flannan’s Road led by Kevin Moynihan & Amelie Malice - Powered by David McNamara, Manus Doherty & Ja Collins aided by Amelie Malice and Alannah McNamara with young guns James O’Dwyer and Luke Malice with the veteran Paul Madden thrown in for good measure.   
3. Gallows Hill / Turnpike led by Philly Walsh & Elizabeth Russell - Current Shield holders and perennial contenders with Ciaran Russell, Nially McMahon, Mark McInerney, Fionan Treacy and the Russell sisters plus Alana McInerney. The team everyone wants to beat! Plus, have to mention the perennial All-Star, Rory Hickey.
4. Gort Road led by Liam Corry & Eva White - Regular contenders led by Liam Corry with fellow senior stars, Conor Perrill and Gary Stack backed up by young bucks Rian Mulcahy, and Roan McDermott with a touch of class added by Eva White and Aimee Daniels with spiritual leader, Rory Gallagher, missing out this year after his recent marriage.
5. Kilrush Road led by Kevin Brennan & Aimee Lyne - One to watch, led by Ikem Ugweru, young Robert Loftus, the veteran Dean Ryan aided by Elana Bradley and Niamh McManus. A dark horse with all their young talent.
6. Lahinch Road led by Colin Reidy & Edel Malone - Twice previous winners and perennial contenders with Luke Pyne, Darren O’Brien, Edel Malone, the McGrath brothers, plus the veterans Brian Frawley and Alan Malone – one to watch!
7. Shanaway Road led by Brian Cooney & Sarah Redmond - Current Cup holders with Gavin Cooney, the Cleary brothers (Luca & Marco) with the Redmond sisters, Maria & Sarah aided by young Ruth Nihill with Mikey Moloney and Rory Brennan adding great experience to the cause.   
8. Tulla Road led Dean D’Auria - Powered by the D’Auria brothers, Dean & Gavin, with Gavin Murray, Ronan Lanigan, Eoin Guilfoyle and our dual star, Oran Cahill and his sister, Ella.
