Update on GAA Palestine visit

Please see update in relation to the upcoming visit of GAA Palestine in July.
While our time with the group is shorter than expected we intend to share as much of our games and culture with them as is possible over Saturday evening and Sunday morning.
Bigi linn

• The expected arrival time has been pushed out and so our plans have somewhat altered.
• The group of 33 children aged 9 to 16, plus approx 20 adults will now arrive to the club at approx 5.30pm and will be welcomed to an evening of activities, BBQ and Ceol.
• On Sunday morning they will take part in a mini blitz with our members before they depart for Galway.
• The children are from various Palestinian clubs, with the majority from Ramallah. GAA continues to prosper in Palestine giving these kids a much needed break from the challenges they face daily.
• The group is being bussed by Paddywagon Tours for the duration of their tour, as such, Éire Óg will be the meeting point for the Clare leg.
• If you can assist by accommodating children or adults on the night of 26th July, please contact John Keating at secretaryeireogacademy@gmail.com or on 087 8328681.

If you can donate to support the group with their trip, https://whydonate.com/fundraising/gaa-palestine-summer-tour-2025-clare-leg

We encourage all our club members to come along and extend a Céad Míle Fáilte to the group
