For the first time in 35 years, we will contest the Munster Club Senior Hurling Final. The game v Ballygunner throws in at 3pm in Semple Stadium on Sunday November 30th. It has been quite the journey to this point and please God come Sunday evening we will have another piece of silverware on display.
Let every man, woman and child make your way to Thurles to support the team with all the colour and voice you can muster! The team will warm up on the Town end side of the pitch. Due to a clash of colour, Éire Óg will wear white and Ballygunner wear black.
We wish the very best of luck to the team and management, we are all behind you and come hell or highwater we will be at the clubhouse at Clonroadmore on Sunday evening to welcome you back.
Come on the Townies!!
The game will be live on TG4 TV for those unable to attend in person, Clare FM will have live commentary.
Tickets are €20 Adult and €15 Student/OAP. U16s are free and do not need a ticket.
A huge thanks to everyone that have supported the club via the National Club Draw. There are some great prizes up for grabs here, provided by Croke Park, with all proceeds of ticket sales staying with the club. If you haven’t already purchased tickets, please do so now. The monies raised will help with costs for not only our senior campaigns, but for all of our club teams: https://eireoginis.ie/products/31317/purchases/new
Despite best efforts and preparations, things just didn’t fall our way last Sunday in Cork. There’s no one more disappointed than the team themselves, but ye can hold yer heads high, we have had a fantastic year, completing the double under pressure and giving us many memorable days and evenings! So rest up, regroup and come back stronger for 2026. Thank ye all.
