Boys Academy Monday and Friday training restarts on Monday 9th March. Dates for Camogie and Ladies Academies to be confirmed. We look forward to welcoming you all back and also to seeing the new faces joining us.
 
St. Patrick’s Day Parade
Get your walking shoes ready! The club will take part in this year’s parade which is themed “Ennis – Wicked for Good”. We look forward to seeing as many as possible to partake on the day, more info to follow.

Annual Club 5K 
 
Our annual Club 5K walk/run takes place on Saturday, February 28th at 10.30am from the clubhouse. Please register on the following link to give us an idea of expected numbers and please note the number of children you will be bringing to ensure we have a goody bag for them.

First Anniversary Mass for Bishop Willie
 
Bishop Willie’s first anniversary mass will be celebrated in the Cathedral on Saturday 21st February at 11am. After mass, the new Cathedral Plaza in front of the Cathedral will be dedicated to his memory and will be known as Bishop Willie Walsh Plaza. All welcome to attend.

Weekend games
 
Best wishes to Hannah and Charley with the Clare U16 ladies away to Kerry on Saturday at 12. A little later Flannan’s take on CBC Kilkenny in the Croke Cup quarter final, throw in 2pm in Bansha, wishing all the best to David and Luke with the team and on Saturday evening the Clare senior hurlers are hosted by Kildare in Round 4 at 6.30pm. Closer to home on Sunday the Clare senior footballers host Laois in Round 4 in Cusack Park at 2pm. Wishing every success to all teams at the weekend.

Safeguarding-Date for your diary
 
The next Safeguarding session is Tuesday March 3rd. Gemma will issue the link once she has it. 
Up to date (GAA) Safeguarding is required by all coaches including adult teams that have U18s on the panel, as is GAA Garda Vetting.  Contact Gemma Fitzgerald with any queries.

Munster GAA Gaeltacht Scholarship deadline is next Monday Feb 23rd.
 
Applicants must be current members of a GAA, LGFA or Camogie Club in Munster.
Applicants aged 12 – 17 are required to submit a video recording in Irish of ONE MINUTE’S duration on the following Topic:
Mo Chlub (Based on Gaelic games of all codes)
Video to also include a brief introduction of self from the student, outlining their interest in Gaeilge and our culture.

Public consultation on the future of youth Gaelic games
 
An important survey exploring experiences and perspectives on participation, development, and retention in youth Gaelic games, particularly for players aged 13 to 17, is now open to the public.
Those involved in Gaelic Games in a coaching, playing, administrative or volunteer capacity are invited to participate, and all responses will be anonymous and treated confidentially.
