Steps Challenge

Now that Ireland Lights Up and the Steps Challenge are over for another year can I take the opportunity to thank each and every person that took part in the last 6 weeks.

As a club and community we have done incredibly well and won the steps challenge very comfortably! These initiatives were all about bringing our community together, getting out and having some fun, while getting active at the same time!

It has been said to us that people would like to continue with the walking group on Wednesday evenings. Therefore, we are going to continue our walking group at 19:00 every Wednesday for the month of March. This will be in conjunction with the 9000 steps a day challenge for The Irish Cancer Society. We will have a bucket at the walks if you wish to donate to this cause.

The kind people of Azzurri have given us some Healthy Club merchandise due to our success in the Steps Challenge. We took note of everyone's place on the leader board at 22:00 tonight and did a draw for the merchandise. Please see the attached for the list of winners. The winners can collect their gifts between 6-7pm next Tuesday at the coffee shop in Éire Óg.

Once again thank you all so much for your efforts, we have the best club
