Family Fun day
The date for our family fun day and opening of the stand date has changed to Sunday 26th June. The fun day will run from 2 to 6pm, followed by the official opening of the stand at 6pm. There will be a range of fun activities including old favourites tug of war, sack race, crossbar challenge, dog show, face painting, BBQ & ice-cream to name a few. A great club day in store.
Puc fada
Congratulations to Rian Clohessy who won the U16 Puc Fada qualifier in Éire Óg last week. Rian represented the club in the county final at Caherlohan on Saturday. No success on this occasion but great experience for next year.
Intercounty
We are off to Croker on the double, a huge well done to the Clare senior footballers & hurlers on their progression to their respective All-Ireland quarter & semi finals. Hard luck to the Clare minor hurlers who came up short in their semi v Offaly, what a great year they have had, they can hold their heads high.
Tickets
The hurling semi v Kilkenny will take place on Croke Park on Saturday, July at 5.30pm. While we don’t yet have information on club tickets for the game, we have opened an order form for members to get their requests in. In order to have our lists ready if/when we receive the club allocation the form will close again at 6pm Monday 20th June.
As always, you must be a club member to order. We may need to limit to max 2 per member or 4 for family membership, depending on the number of tickets we are allocated v requests in.
There will be limited availability of tickets going on general sale online and in Centra/Supervalu on Monday 20th at 12pm.
Given that the game is a semi-final in Croke Park, there should be more than enough tickets to meet demand. However, clubs may not be given enough of an allocation to cover all requests in so if you are happy with the tickets available online or in the shops, the advice is to purchase them there. NB: child tickets seem to be available for Cusack and Davin sections only.
Should you get your tickets elsewhere please cancel your club order by texting club Secretary Aileen on 087-6839207

- been Garda vetted
- have completed at least a Foundation Level coaching course
- have attended a GAA Child Safeguarding 1 workshop (details already circulated)
NB: Lead coaches will co ordinate
Club Lotto
There was no jackpot winner this week, we had 4 match 3 winners, JJ Considine, Deirdre Sheehan, Roisin O’Halloran & Peter O’Connell. Dorothy Moylan won the promoters prize €25. Well done. Next Thursday’s jackpot is €2750, you can enter online here: https://eireoginis.ie/draws
