The Eire Og Fantasy Football league is up and running. It’s proven to be a great success and prize pool will be 850 euro! Thanks again to all who entered for supporting the club in its funding raising endeavours.

Camogie
U13s host Doora Barefield on Wed 17th @ 7.15pm. Our juniors headed to Parteen last night, our numbers were tight against a full strength Parteen but an entertaining game ensued albeit with Parteen running out the victors. Tonight sees our intermediate team host Broadford in round 1, throw in 7pm in Éire Óg. All support much appreciated.

Academy
Well done to our U13 Academy team who came out the better of a battle with Corofin Ruan last night in Éire Óg to reach the Academy B shield final, the final v Kilmaley is pencilled in for Thursday 18th Aug in Kilmaley.

Our U17 Minor Academy hurlers begin their campaign with a trip to Sixmilebridge this evening, all hurling and football fixtures noted in table above.

Academy training returns as normal on Monday Aug 15th at 6.30 for football.

Ladies football

On Saturday Aug 20th, Éire Óg host the U12 Munster LGFA Club Blitz from 11am to 2.30pm. 24 teams will be in attendance.

Intermediates and juniors continue their championship campaigns on Sunday 21st and our U14s begin theirs away to Wolfe Tones with time tbc.

Club Lotto
12/08/2022 numbers drawn: 7, 8, 24, 31. There was no jackpot or match 3 winners. 4 x lucky dips went to Paddy Keane, Neil Fitzgerald, Frank Molloy and Noel Mulderrig who win €25 each. Adrian Kearney won the promoters prize of €25. (NB Adrian wins promoters prize this week, not Pat McInerney as was posted in error last night, sorry Pat!)

Well done. Next Thursday’s jackpot is €3750, thanks for your continued support, you can enter online here: https://eireoginis.ie/draws

The lotto draw has returned to the clubhouse on Thursday evenings and we are seeking volunteers to take turns to run the draw. Checking of tickets is mostly computerised and the whole process takes approx. 30 minutes. Please contact Fergal by email if you would help out: treasurer.eireogennis.clare@gaa.ie
