Éire Óg Inis 70th Birthday! 

The 70th anniversary of the founding of Éire Óg will be marked by an informal get-together in the clubhouse on Friday October 21st from 7.30pm. The event, consisting of a remembrance service, a pictorial trip down memory lane and some refreshments, is of course open to all members, but there's a special welcome for former players, officials and team managers, who wish to renew old friendships, swap tall tales of daring deeds and relive battles won and lost. 

Many former players and club officers, some of whom may have lost contact over the years, were written to, informing them of the evening, but if anyone was missed or if you know of someone who you feel would like to go, please bring them along. 

It will be a very informal, casual event for the club to show appreciation to those great Townies who got us to where we are today.
