The Irish Life Healthy Clubs Conference was held today in Croke Park. Five members of the Éire Óg Inis Healthy Club committee were in attendance and had the honour of presenting all the positive work going on in the club.

The theme of the day was the values of the GAA with Éire Óg presenting in the area of “Teamwork & Volunteerism”. Speakers for the club, Noreen Vaughan and Verona Faughey highlighted all the initiatives we have out in place in our club: Ireland Lights Up, Irish Life Steps Challenge, Gaelic for Mothers n Others, Ferns Fitness Programme, Gaelic for All Programme and our very successful All-Stars programme. We took questions from the floor about the enablers and disablers of recruiting volunteers and showcased our brilliant club at the national convention!
