Kieran Malone, Tommy Downes and Conor O Halloran all played in a big confidence boosting win for Clare footballers today. 

Clare are through to the McGrath Cup final in Munster after a rare win over Kerry, who were playing in front of their home fans at Fitzgerald Stadium, Killarney.

The Banner trailed by four at the break, 0-07 to 0-03, but five points on the bounce after the interval put them ahead.

An experimental Kingdom side got back level at 0-8 apiece, but were unable to stop Clare, inspired by man of the match Cathal O’Connor, winning 0-12 to 0-09.
